Jared discovered his purpose during his time in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders. While the team was in minicamp preparing for the 2014-2015 season, Jared had a vision that led him to forgo his contract and leave his football career behind. He dreamt to be a conduit for transformation. He believed that through creativity and strategy, people could experience a restored identity of freedom and purpose.
That summer, Jared began serving at his childhood church, Grace Covenant Church as their director of community outreach and missions. After spending time serving businesses, schools, and numerous philanthropic organizations, Jared began writing content and equipping others to impact a wide range of people.
One day, while creating content in the back of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Northern Virginia, Jared was approached by the owner-operator who was intrigued by the visual content on his laptop and inquired about holding team development meetings for his leadership team on a regular basis. Soon after that impromptu meeting, Jared began to personally coach each leader and hold monthly meetings that were fun, collaborative, and motivating. That year, their restaurant saw a sales increase of 17% and retained over 70% of its employees. At that moment, the dream grew into a vision to engage teams and see lives transformed.
