Previously, he served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Rescue Swimmer, where he specialized in search and rescue operations and flew hundreds of life-saving missions around the world.
He was born and raised in Iowa, and now lives in San Diego, CA, where he is also pursuing his master’s degree.
