Where the mission came from.
In 1995, our founder's family lost his fifteen-year-old brother, William, to bacterial meningitis. The science was not where it needed to be. The operations to scale what existed were not where they needed to be either. That combination decides which families wait — and which families do not.
Phase 3 was built so that fewer families wait. It is why a search firm brings leaders together, publishes governance research, and refuses to treat a placement as a transaction. It is all the same work.
